Salam,

I understand that second marriage is conditional as per 4:3

And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course.
[The Quran ; 4:3]

How will this issue be solved, for example: Theres a woman 46, whos husband just died. The woman has 2 daughters 24&26yrs old, no single comes to marry either of the gals cos they are poor or any reason whatsoever. Now what if a married man wants to marry one of them ?

Salam bro

You know where I stand regarding 4:3 that it talks about marrying their mother, however I admitted that this is my own understanding and at the same time I accept that the verse may mean marrying the orphans themselves to care for them but marrying theor mother is more logical to me that's all

It's a tough question bro, but again it should be only justified if the hudband thinks that he will be fair between his first wife and the second one, and as you know he can't, therefore according to the same verse, the man should only marry one

You know bro, any non-muslim asks this question, only one th ought comes to my mind.

Does anyone become a Muslim so that he wants to marry 4 wives, or beat the wife, or pay jizya no way.

According to me Islam is a simple way to believe in one God, who created us no complexities at all.

Well, the way its portrayed it feels like marrying 4 wives is the most important factor in Islam were as all this are secondary but as in 4:116, Allaah mentions dont associate partners with Allaah. Allaah knows the best.

Here i am not questioning both of you but my point, which i thought before sleeping yesterday. Damn we should ask them if these verses were not there in the quran would they become a Muslim.

Forget that and we muslims are more surrounded by micro problems rather than macro problems. The world is toying around with the Muslims because they know they cant do anything wrt Islam.
