3.181 - Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich. We will write what they said and their killing of the prophets without right, and We will say: Taste the torture of burning. 3.182 - This is because of what your hands have put forth; and indeed, Allah is never unjust to the servants. 3.183 - Those who said: Indeed, Allah took a covenant with us that we should not believe in any messenger until he brings to us an offering which fire consumes. Say: There have already come to you messengers before me with the proofs, and with that of which you spoke. So why did you kill them, if you should be truthful? 3.184 - And if they deny you, so were messengers denied before you, they came with the proofs and the Psalms and the enlightening book. 3.185 - Every soul will taste death, and your rewards will be fully paid on the day of resurrection. So whoever is drawn away from the fire and is admitted to the garden, then he has certainly won. And the life of this world is not except the enjoyment of ego. 3.186 - You will surely be tried in your wealth and yourselves, and you will surely hear from those who have been given the book before you and from those who are polytheists a lot of harm. But if you are patient and fear, then indeed, that is of the toughest matters. 3.187 - And when Allah took a covenant with those who were given the book (saying): You must explain it to the people and you do not conceal it. But they left it behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price, and miserable is that which they buy. 3.188 - Never think of those who rejoice for whatever harm they do and love to be praised for what they have not done, do not think of them to be safe from torture. And for them is a painful torture. 3.189 - And to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over everything Capable. 3.190 - Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those who possess minds.
